The Dome Chardonnay

Description

Ripe pineapple, melon and orange blossoms dominate on the nose supported by hints of lemon rind and dried apricots. Flavours of white peach, cashew nuts and caramel linger on the pallet. Roundness on the pallet, dense core and layered natural sweetness due to natural fermentation supported by a creamy finish. A well-balanced wine. Strong flavoured food such as duck a la Orange, rich sauces such as walnut or hollandaise but not too lemony. Good with crayfish thermidor or smoked haddock in a creamy, saffron sauce.
