Description
Crafting the perfect cool-climate Merlot is a balancing act with nature. Finding the perfect ripeness can be a challenge, but the reward for patience is clear in this elegant, full-bodied Merlot. The wine is deep red in colour with a bright ruby hue. Dark mint chocolate, sweet ripe dark berries, black olives and prunes on the nose with clean cherry flavours, hints of fynbos and oak spice on the palate. Awards: 90 point on the 2017 James Suckling Awards.
